CHAMBER MUSIC CELEBRATION


*The Chamber Music Celebration planned for March 22 has been postponed.

The Cummings Quartet and seven advanced student chamber ensembles will perform music by famous composers such as Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert.

THE DGSP GOES TO THE MOVIES!

Students from the Dorothy Gerber Youth Orchestra and the Boyne City Junior Orchestra will join with The Cummings Quartet to perform chamber music and movie themes prior to the showing of Mulan at Charlevoix Cinema.

THE CHARLES F. DAVIS YOUNG ARTIST COMPETITION

Area youth perform solos for the opportunity to win prizes in the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra’s annual young artist competition.

SPRING SOLO RECITAL

Students enrolled in DGSP private lessons perform their solos on the GLCFA stage, accompanied by Michelle Mitchum.

SPRING COLLAGE CONCERT

The culmination of the DGSP school year is the annual Spring Collage Concert. All students attend rehearsals starting in the early afternoon, then share dinner together, and finally share in a concert you won't ever forget! From beginners to advanced, Pellston to Elk Rapids, solos to 150 musicians playing Ode to Joy, this is a concert you don't want to miss!
